Relieve Pain and Release Tension without Medication or Surgery
One approach, one goal: release the muscular tension that may be contributing to your pain.
With Hanna Somatic Education, I use slow, gentle, mindful movements to help you become aware of habitual muscular tension and learn how to release it through active movement and neuromuscular re-education without medication or surgery.

Individual Somatic Sessions
Individual Somatic Sessions
Hanna Somatic Education offers a targeted, effective approach to reversing the habitual patterns that cause persistent pain, muscle tension, and physical restriction. By retraining the neuromuscular connection, these personalized sessions help restore voluntary control, functional movement, and ease to your body.
Our work begins with an initial conversation to review your specific needs, followed by a standing assessment to observe your body's structural alignment and sensory-motor patterns. Using these insights, I develop a tailored Hanna Somatics protocol designed to bring balance and relief to your soma. To support your long-term progress, I conclude each session by teaching you 1 to 2 personalized exercises to integrate into your home self-care practice.

Online & In-Person Sessions
Whether you are based in Berlin or anywhere else in the world, we can work together.Online & In-Person Sessions
In-Person Sessions: Held in my studio, these sessions combine verbal guidance with gentle, hands-on somatic movement to support your body directly.
Online Sessions: Conducted via Zoom, online sessions offer the same personalized guidance from the comfort of your home. All you need is a stable internet connection and a camera-enabled device so I can observe your movements clearly.
How Sessions Work
Verbally Guided Movement
Each session is guided by voice. You are led step by step to help sense and explore movement within your own body. Patterns are observed and clear adjustments offered when needed. You’re encouraged to ask questions and move at your own pace.
Gentle and Accessible
Hanna Somatics is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or experience. The movements are gentle and easily adapted. You can choose a smaller range of motion or even visualize the movement. Visualization alone can still create meaningful change in the neuromuscular system.
Slow, Mindful Practice
In Somatics, slower is better. Moving slowly allows your brain to fully sense and retrain your muscles to release unnecessary tension. The slower and more consciously you move, the deeper the transformation.
Awareness-Based Learning
Awareness is at the heart of Somatic education. You’re not just moving, you’re learning to feel from the inside out. Bringing more presence to sensation helps the nervous system restore balance, coordination, and ease.
Comfort and Adaptability
Sessions are usually done lying down but can also be adapted for sitting or standing. Movements may include gentle sequences on your back, sides, or stomach. If any position is uncomfortable, the session is modified to suit your needs. A few pillows nearby can help support certain movements.
Lasting Benefits
The benefits of Hanna Somatics build over time. With continued practice, awareness deepens, tension releases more easily, and freedom of movement becomes second nature. You can continue with one-on-one sessions, join group classes, or integrate these gentle movements into your daily life. Each step helps your body remember how to move with comfort and ease.
